Sherman has a long history of visual and performing arts, and that legacy lives in Sherman's present-day culture. 

Community Series
Kidd-Key Auditorium plays host to notable performance artists, a list which includes the Sherman Symphony Orchestra and the Sherman Community Series concerts.

Sherman Symphony Orchestra
The Sherman Symphony Orchestra has added culture and sophistication to the Sherman area since 1966. They perform several times a year, both at Kidd-Key Auditorium and Austin College. Their Christmas Pops concert is always a family favorite.

Sherman Community Players
Downtown Sherman is the official arts district, and it holds quite a treasure of culture. The Sherman Community Players, in existence for nearly 100 years in Sherman, showcases local dramatic, comedic, and musical talent every season at the Finley Theater.  

Theatricks
Do you need a fun, family-friendly environment? Theatricks is a wonderful way to expose your child to the performing arts. They put on three shows each season, in addition to numerous traveling performances and clinics.

Sherman Council for Arts and Humanitites
SCAH is made up of member-organizations who are based on the arts, including performing and visual arts. These members put on their own performances and shows each year, so be sure to visit their website to find out more about each group.
