Once again, the Sherman Municipal Lawn will turn into a glorious hub of activity for the 30th Annual Sherman Arts Festival.  This festival features a judged art show and sale for ages 18 and up; youth art show; woodcarving show and sale; 5K, 10K, and mini-K fun run; continual live music; pumpkin patch; pancake breakfast; used book sale; museum tours; gymnastics, cheerleading and karate demonstrations; kids area with t-shirt painting, make-and-take crafts, bounce houses, face painting and much more; food vendors that will appeal to everyone's taste bud's; and enough arts and crafts vendors to wrap around the block at least once.  Whether you sit back and enjoy the performers or start your holiday shopping early, it's a great place to spend the day with the family while still being close enough to home to make it an all day event.
