The Sherman Symphony Orchestra is an excellent regional orchestra, in fact it's the only one between Dallas and Tulsa. It has a 45-year history in Sherman, beginning at Austin College and continuing that relationship through the years.

Daniel L. Dominick has been Music Director and Conductor of the Sherman Symphony Orchestra since 1992. He is a versatile conductor with an international conducting career, including concerts in the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Poland, and also maintains a busy conducting schedule in north Texas. A concert pianist on the faculty of Austin College in Sherman, Maestro Dominick performs regularly,
