  1. DINO DAYS 2014 at The Sherman Museum

    July 5 - September 27 @ 301 South Walnut St.

The dinosaurs are coming BACK to Texoma, bigger and more awesome than ever! DINO DAYS 2014 will feature "Big Al", a 25 foot long Allosaurus from the late Jurassic period, facing off with "Spike", a 20 foot long Stegosaurus. Other planned pairings include the Cretaceous rivals Velociraptor and Protoceratops. DINO DAYS offers something for everyone. Children will want to spend time in our Dino Dig - a special dig pit that will give youngsters a chance to experience what paleontologists do when they hunt for fossils. School-age visitors can enroll in a hands-on, interactive, multi-media workshop that we call our Dino Academy. The whole family will enjoy watching 3-D Dino movies and attending informative lectures. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-4:00pm.

  3. THE SHOUTING SISTER at Kidd-Key Auditorium

    August 29 - August 30 @ Kidd-Key Auditorium

THE SHOUTING SISTER showcases the life of a woman who constantly shouts in church every Sunday about the same thing. The church members are wondering why she always shouts and if she is being real or fake in her praise. The church is a place where all the secrets come out and because of the shouting sister's heart wrenching testimony about why she shouts, other members of the church are able to come face to face with their own demons including low self-worth, gossiping, a distant relationship with God, and other secrets that come out of the closet in this play.
